Gallery owner Carole Sorokin has invited local artists to donate a piece of art (including one by Dario!) that will be arranged on the back wall of the gallery from May 1 to May 31 for viewing and sale. All proceeds will go to a campaign to abolish $1M in unpaid and unpayable medical debt across the U.S., with funds left over to help meet immediate veteran financial needs.

The Harmonetics Project, which helps CT veterans manage stress, boost mental clarity and reduce pain and anxiety through Easy Breath classes, is partnering with EVD and the Sorokin Gallery in an “Operation Debt Day” campaign. The goal is to raise $50,000, which will not only abolish $1,000,000 in veteran debt nationally, but also provide The Harmonetiks Project and EVD with $30,000 to help meet immediate needs of local veterans.
